Pandemic-born provider of innovative, real-time software for the healthcare industry celebrates milestones, achievements and new innovations beyond the COVID era

GoMeyra, a cloud-based SaaS company dedicated to providing innovative, real-time software for the healthcare industry, is celebrating two years in business. With its existence spurred on by the global pandemic, the company has thrived and continues to evolve, providing technology products for the healthcare industry.

"Some may not consider this a milestone anniversary, but I thought it was important to show that even though we were born out of the pandemic, we are a strategic and nimble company that has expanded with new, non-pandemic related products. And while we still conduct a significant level of business related to COVID testing, it has been key for our survival to look beyond the pandemic. In the past year, GoMeyra has made enormous strides and accomplishments:

Launched a telehealth management platform, GoVirtual Clinic – a telehealth platform for labs, physicians, or nurses to administer tests and consult with patients at-home over a secure remote platform. Patients simply schedule an appointment online, receive a testing kit delivered to their door, and log on for their scheduled appointment. A doctor or nurse joins them on the other side of the computer screen to assist them in self-administering the test. Results are revealed and recorded during the appointment, or the patient mails the sample to a lab, depending on the test. Future phases of GoVirtual Clinic currently in development will expand the platform's capabilities beyond testing to allow providers the ability to virtually conduct a variety of routine appointments, as well as securely manage the lifecycle of patient care from one portal, including reviewing and updating medical history; ordering prescriptions, labs and imaging; accessing test results; coordinating insurance; handling billing, and more – all from one single-interface solution.

Developed New testing panels – GoMeyra LIMS can now process testing for monkeypox, urinary tract infections and sexually transmitted infections, with additional panels currently in development including respiratory and toxicology.

GoMeyra Network – With the network, labs can collaborate to efficiently manage high daily sample volumes and maximize processing capacity by coordinating overflow testing. Additionally, having a LIMS that speaks to other labs allows smaller independent labs to take on more business, enabling them to team up and compete with larger diagnostics providers.

10+ million tests – GoMeyra LIMS has conducted more than 10 million COVID-19 tests for lab partners across the United States, Canada and the Caribbean.

Giving Back – GoMeyra provided scholarships at the Community College of Southern Nevada for the Medical Laboratory Technician program. The GoMeyra Lab Studies Scholarships hopes to aid and inspire future lab technicians and lab science students at the college to enter the field and provide the funding they may need to ease the financial burden.
